Herpes Type 2

Herpes type 2 is found genitally and is usually diagnosed visually, not with a cone biopsy or colposcopy. People with multiple partners, a poor immune system, and those who suffer from other sexually transmitted diseases are in the risk group. Babies may also be contaminated during pregnancy or vaginal delivery. Avoiding sexual contact when the virus is active is likely to prevent the infection spread. Herpes type 2 is found genitally and is usually diagnosed visually, not with a cone biopsy or colposcopy.
