Herpes Simplex Type 2
Herpes simplex type 2 often occurs together with venereal wart, but while wart can be treated with various methods, HSV is incurable.
The incidence is higher in people with multiple sexual partners since the virus is spread during intercourse. The infection is usually painful and is accompanied by itching, burning, and other discomforts. This strain of the virus is responsible for genital infections that are characterized by lesions on the penis, vagina, and close areas.
