Ocular Herpes
Ocular herpes in newborns can be caused by genital herpes with vaginal wart in mothers.
The virus is reactivated then possibly due to a nervous strain or other factors that impair the immune system causing blisters on one side of the body, face, pain, and sometimes, mild fever.
