Herpes Type 1
Herpes type 1 infection usually doesn’t locate genitally, although herpes type2 is possibly a risk factor in miscarriage and infertility.
The virus cannot be removed from the body resulting in recurrent outbreaks lasting for about a week. Since the infection is easily transmitted, it is recommended to prevent the virus from spreading by not sharing towels, dishes, and other objects. Antiviral treatment may help reduce the number of repeated outbreaks.
